Dr. Alex Volchonok

Dr. Volchonok is the co-founder of TetraHealth Dentistry, and a dual Ivy-League trained Biologic Board-Certified Periodontist and Oral Implantologist with advanced training in zirconia dental implants, pinhole gum rejuvenation, and laser-assisted new attachment procedures (LANAP). He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed his periodontal specialty training at Columbia University. In addition to his dental training and specialization, he uniquely holds four additional fellowship certifications including the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Institute of Advanced Laser Dentistry, the International Academy of Biologic Medicine & Dentistry, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology. Building on his success with AVPeriodontics, New York City’s first biologic periodontal practice, Dr. Volchonok expanded his vision for integrative oral-systemic health by founding TetraHealth Dentistry- an innovative practice that redefines dental care through the Four Pillars of Health Philosophy integrating biologic dentistry, medicine, and wellness to help to promote better oral-systemic health for patients. Dr. Volchonok also serves as the current president of the Greenwich Dental Society and enjoys lecturing and mentoring colleagues to advance the knowledge of periodontal health and its connection to the body.
